After staring at my old ref for a year or so, I found it extremely disproportional. I have fixed everything to fit better on the human body and also added extended fins, because I'm to lazy to make a top down view. I have used the measurements of my completed pieces, the head and hind feet to fix the other proportions.

yep yours is gonna be like the daddy to mine. Much bigger costume; i had the same idea to make toothless as big but decided to make him smaller and less bulky so it would be easier to store and move around conventions ^^; good luck and hope you get to work on him soon

^_^; yea, after posting this, and drawing it on the wall full size, I realized that it was way too huge and have already scaled him down... Full size Toothless is way too impractical for anywhere but outdoors.

That's going to be......HUGE. ...And extremely heavy.

Looks like that would be better off having stable, hollow frame/harness base over just building up on foam.
